Saththiyanathan was my first cousin in fact we used to call him Sathiyanathan Aththan. My father's sister Rasama maami was married to Mr. Kumarasingham. My father's name was Thambiah Kandasamy we used to live in Kotahena and Sathithiyanathan was a frequent visitor to our home. I remember the wonderful days when we used to visit Manipay from Colombo for the Maruthadi Ther festival. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies and also my sister Meenaloshani who lives in Sri Lanka. Often I wondered where he was since the last time when in Colombo I inquired after him and was told that he has moved to Canada. I visited him in Manipay about 4-5 years ago. May he rest in peace.
