I, Manuel Indrasuriyyan (Indran), son of Philip Peduru Manuel (Aasaipillai) of Aaththikuly, Murungan and Mrs. Manuel Sinnappillai of Paddimedu Thampalakamam, write this with a heavy heart to express my heartfelt condolences and deep sorrow on the "Attaining Eternal Rest" of Santhampillai Maamaa. It is deeply regretted that I was not in a position to pay my "Last Respect"to Maamaa due to unavoidable and unforeseen reasons. My attempts to contact the family members and attempts to visit Sooriyakattaikaadu later were foiled for various reasons. I bring to my memory vivid memories of our days together at Maamaa's house with the whole family and that of Soori Maamaa's family. I also would like to recall the occasions I was personally and as a family helped in different ways by His father. I remember the days when we used to swim and thrash at each other in the "Azhai" right in front of His house in Sooriyakattaikaadu. I can see Maamaa now enjoying Himself in the Kingdom of "GOD ALMIGHTY' and hovering around us with His Protective Hands. May Maamaa's Good Soul REST IN PEACE.
