Mulling over how to express my gratitude, I cannot help but remember how often she put her well being before the lives of others. I cannot help but think about my mother and the harrowing tales of our journey from Sri Lanka to our present destination. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunty and grandmother, putting her well-being second to those she cared for most. I continue to treasure these memories because they served as the gold standard of how I chose to raise my kids. I cannot help but think of what we could have done differently to help extend your life. My family and I are forever in your debt. Thank you for everything, and God bless your soul.
