We never thought Ruban Uncle would leave us so soon. I can still remember days after you and Sothy Acca got married and were on the train to Colombo and myself and Cippy ran to the back of the house to wave goodbye to you both. Those images will forever remain in my heart. Your inviting presence and warm heart made us always feel welcomed. We always talk about how you and Sothy Acca always made us feel at home whenever we were near you. We would always leave your house smiling and laughing. Vaman would always say that you were an expert in every topic that was spoken about and how you would genuinely ask how our lives were going. Ruban Uncle/Appapa we feel blessed to be related to you and know you. You leave us with tears in our eyes but we hope you are with god now.
