Dearest Paata, Akka and I miss you dearly Paata. Not only were you like a father to our Appa but a grandfather-figure to us. You have always looked after all of us as if we were your own children, and for that we will always cherish our sweet memories together. As we have grown up, it is clear that our Appa has inherited his best qualities from you. Paata, your selflessness in helping people and putting others before yourself is something all of your family and friends will remember you for. Another quality of yours that we will always cherish is your ability to give invaluable advice on any matter of life- drawing extensive knowledge on any matter, you would surprise us with endless facts and figures about various topics. I hope you are at peace now and without any pain- resting with your dearest parents. Although we will miss you greatly, Paata, we will keep you close to our hearts with the memories of all the fond moments we shared. We count ourselves very lucky Paata that we can say you lived a full and happy life. Your grand cap collection will always remind us of this- the fact that you were able to travel all over the world with your partner in everything, Sothi Ammama. In fact, we often say, your marriage is the image of strength. Us youngsters can only hope that we will be lucky enough to have such a loving and fulfilling marriage. So, thank you both for showing us what’s important in life. Thank you Paata for everything you have done through your time here and we hope you rest peacefully now.
