A Tribute to My Beloved Father Papa you were kind-hearted and humble soul, a man of simplicity yet boundless love and care, especially toward your children. You dedicated your life to ensure that my siblings and I had the freedom to pursue our passions, always supporting us with unwavering encouragement. Beyond your role as a father, you were a devoted husband. You treated my mother as your equal partner, standing by her side through every challenges showing your love and care for her, especially during her illness, were a testament to the depth of your compassion. Her passing before you left a void, but your strength and love continued to hold our family together. Despite your unassuming nature, you were immensely talented. It wasn’t until adulthood that I truly recognized your gifts. While we were growing up, you wrote one book, and later, once we had all settled into our lives, you poured your heart into writing and authored many more. Your dedication and intellect earned you honors such as an honorary PhD, and you were recognized as a Chevalier—honors that speak to your remarkable contributions. Yet, what fills me with the greatest pride and joy of you is not merely these accolades, but the man you were your character, kindness, wisdom, love and your selfless devotion to your family. The memories you created with us in our childhood are precious, and you continued to build lasting bonds with your grandchildren, showering them with the same love and wisdom. You held a deep reverence for Tamil language and Tamil community, always carrying a profound concern for the future of Tamil people and society. Your life was a beautiful reflection of humility, love, and dedication. Though you are no longer with us, your values, your love, and your legacy live on in our hearts. I am forever grateful to have had you as my father.
