Our dear Parames teacher, Prema, Sri, Mano, Sasi and Vanaja, we share your grief at this time and remember the good times we had as your neighbour next to Vad Hindu Girls School over five years. Our parents Vadivelus very frequently spoke of Vidwan and the teacher. I was Vidwan's student and was motivated to learn the richness of the Tamil language from his teachings. Vidwan's commitment to achieve his goals and his coolheadedness are two great attributes Hartley students admired and followed. His legacy from his teaching will continue for generations. I would extend my sympathies to you and your cousin Kanthi (Mr S Sivakumar, Toronto) and will try and call Prema or Sri.
