Dr Soma as we affectionately called was a very kind hearted generous gentleman.He took part in all religious and cultural organisations like Lewisham Sivan Kovil trust where was a trustee from inception till the end.He took active part in Medical Institute of Tamils in UK,Saiva Munnetra Sangam and supported all temples in London He supported education of children in Tamil language and Saiva religion.He stood for what was right and reasonable.He had a knack to resolve disputes without hurting other people’s feeling.He was a supporter of Tamil liberation movement.He earned a good name for himself and his family.He was a family man bringing up three lovely children My condolences to his wife and children.The Tamil community will certainly miss him May his soul reach the feet of God Almighty Dr S Navaratnam.
