My heart is incredibly heavy as I say goodbye to my dear friend, Jega. It is difficult to accept your loss, especially when we have shared a friendship that began in Grade 1 and spanned more than 50 years. The memories we created together, and the support we gave one another throughout the years will remain in my heart forever. I will always cherish the countless moments we spent singing old songs—songs so timeless that even our forefathers may have forgotten. Those precious memories are etched into my soul and can never be erased. Your presence brought light, joy, and warmth to everyone around you. You had a special way of lifting spirits and bringing people together. Your absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled, especially within our close-knit group of friends.
