For more than fifty years, I had the privilege of calling Jega my friend. Through all of life’s ups and downs, he remained a constant source of friendship, laughter, and companionship. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled. Jega was a remarkable man—stylish, sophisticated, and always impeccably dressed. He carried himself with grace, kindness, and warmth, making everyone feel welcome in his company. He was well-spoken, thoughtful, and possessed a wonderful sense of humour that could brighten any room. He had a passion for travel, a keen eye for detail, and an appreciation for fine dining and memorable experiences. A gifted writer with an excellent command of the English language, he expressed himself with clarity and wit. He was also a talented singer and accomplished musician whose love of music brought joy to many. Above all, Jega was a natural entertainer. His quick wit, infectious laughter, and ability to bring people together made him a cherished friend to so many. He had a rare gift for making others smile and feel valued. Over five decades of friendship, I shared countless memories, conversations, and special moments with him. I will always be grateful for his loyalty, kindness, and unwavering friendship. Farewell, my dear friend. Thank you for more than fifty years of wonderful memories. You will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and never forgotten. Rest in peace, Jega my friend!!
