Saddened to hear the demise of Prof.(Mrs.) Maheswaran. My heartfelt condolences goes to her family members and friends. One of the distinguished researcher, teacher and an administrator throughout her time with the University of Jaffna and in particular with Dept. of Chemistry. Along with her late husband Prof. Maheswaran, she built the Chemistry department to it's heights they are today and produced so many chemistry scholars. I never had a chance to be her student but admired both her and her late husband's contribution to UoJ and Jaffna tamil academic community. May her Soul Rest in Peace.
