Both Mageswaran couple, fondly called as Prof and Madam lived lives of service to others, sacrificing comfort, prestige, security and much more during very difficult times in our history, because young students may find their life lines. We are eternally indebted to them! I met Mrs. Mageswaran in 1984 at the Jaffna University and discovered the caring spirit behind the 'no-nonsense' outer cover. I met her again in 1992 at the Colombo University where she came to use an equipment, during which I saw her friendly nature. Will always remember how she used to walk daily to the Uni to make paths for us in education. “As we lose ourselves in the service of others we discover our own lives and our own happiness.”
