It is with a heavy heart I write this message on the untimely passing of Philip Mariadasan. I met him when I visited Canada with my family many years ago. He had just arrived in Toronto with his wife, Surenthini. He was such an open hearted, loving gentleman and left a deep impression on me. I never forgot him all these years and he was one person I always had great admiration and love. I wanted to meet him again one day and am utterly shattered to know that will never happen.
