31st Day Death Anniversary Tribute In Loving Memory of Mr. Eliyathamby David Chandrasegaram Called to Rest at the Age of 67 Today marks one month since the passing of a truly remarkable man — Mr. Eliyathamby David Chandrasegaram — and we honour his memory with deep respect and gratitude. A devout Methodist, he served as a Social Services Activist, All-Island Justice of the Peace, former President of the YMCA – Kalmunai, and Chairman of the Kalmunai Mediation Board. His life was one of service, compassion, and integrity. Our personal connection began in July 2024, when he helped our family find a safe home in Kalmunai. He not only welcomed us as tenants but cared for us like his own, offering guidance and unwavering support — including helping our son gain admission to Carmel Fatima College. He often advised us like a father and helped us navigate our new environment with wisdom. One of the most treasured gifts we received from him was a Gideons English Bible, given to me and my spiritual mother — a lasting symbol of his faith. Mr. Chandrasegaram’s legacy of kindness and service lives on in the lives he touched. May his soul rest in eternal peace. His memory will forever remain in our hearts.
