To my dearest Thatha, How have 5 years gone by without you? Every morning I wake with a feeling of incompleteness, for without you I am not whole. I miss you dearly and it is painful to think I will never be able to laugh with you or talk to you as we once did. There are constant reminders of you, however, in the most simple things. The robin that visits your garden everyday and appears at times most significant to our family reminds me of you: like a sign that you are with us always. And for that I thank you.
