Appah, Thatha, two years on and we still can’t believe you’re gone.
You continue to live on in our memories,
so vividly, it’s almost as if you were here,
entertaining us and guiding us in the way you did best.
Our sorrow when we wake and realise
you’re no longer there is replaced
with the comforting knowledge that
 having you in our lives at all was a blessing.
And that is something we all cherish.
