To the children, grand children and the extended family of MR I T Sambandan, I am deeply saddened by the departure of this great gentleman, whose pleasant demeanour and boundless energy always amazed me! I knew him so well during the long years when he and the family were registered with me for their medical care. He was always looking for opportunities to help fellow human beings and community members. Passionately involved himself with the tamil cause and liberation of our people. Participated too with a number of community organisations and wrote several volumes to elaborate our plight and future of our struggle. We will all dearly miss him and his contributions. He has worked very hard and was a larger than life figure in our community. May the turf lay softly on this gentleman and let’s pray for his well earned rest in peace.
