As a friend of the family, I initially saw Yasodharadevi aunty as a loved one among relatives – but later found out that she played a far greater role in society. One could imagine the extent of positive influence she would’ve had on the lives of her students, just by listening/reading their tributes. If one could dedicate their lives to inspire many generations of students to achieve their utmost potential, as a teacher and then as a principal – it seems to me as if, Rahulan wasn’t the only child in her thoughts. Her presence may not be visible anymore, but it’ll be felt and cherished (with a loving smile and a tearful eye) forever by her loved ones, friends, and former students across the globe.
