Appa, I thank God for having given me the honour and blessing to be born your daughter. You have supported me more than any father can do. You gave me the freedom and privilege to live and rise to the best I could doing whatever I wanted to do and achieve. Over the years, I know your health failed you so much. You suffered a lot with your various health complications, without us really understanding what you went through on the inside. You became more and more fragile day by day. However, regardless of what bothered you inside, you never showed it on the outside. You fought very hard to lead a normal life, living at home with Amma, always watching out for me till your very last breadth and always involved in our lives. I am proud of you that you lived the fullest till the last day, being able to independently do everything yourself and be part of our lives. I am at a loss of words to thank you enough for everything, for every single thing you did for me. I sincerely hope and pray that I live to your expectations and only make you proud in every decision I make here on. Knowing you are no more I always feel that I could have done something different to help you better. I hope someday, I prove myself wrong and feel better about myself. Rest in Peace Appa, I will always be proud to be your daughter and promise to live by your legacy.
