Rest in peace to a wonderful uncle. He was my dad's first cousin, and as he always reminded me.... the man who put my dad on a ship to sail to Malaya. We lost in touch for many years due to living in different continents, and as my dad passed on pretty early in life. However, he made sure that he tracked me down and found me. On a perfectly random day after I had just started working in KL, I got a call on my office phone that my uncle from Canada was in town and he wanted to catch up with me. This was the pre social media and pre smartphone era, and I was impressed that he found me. The rest, as they say, is history. He worked really hard to keep in touch and to make sure that my brother and I got to know him, our aunt and his kids. Rest in peace Uncle Vigneshwaran . You are a wonderful person and have lived an epic life. Glad that I made that trip to Canada and got to know you better.
