யாழ். புங்குடுதீவு 11ம் வட்டாரத்தைப் பிறப்பிடமாகவும், பிரான்ஸ் Noisy-le-Sec ஐ வசிப்பிடமாகவும் கொண்டிருந்த வல்லிபுரம் ரவீந்திரன் அவர்களின் 1ம் ஆண்டு நினைவஞ்சலி.

 வருவதில்லை என தெரிந்து

 தீராது ஏக்கத்துடன் இன்னமும்
 துடிக்கின்றது எங்கள் இதயம்
 உன் இனிய புன்னகையும்
கனிவான உன் பேச்சையும்
 மீண்டும் ஒரு முறை காண்போமா
உன்னை தேடி எங்கள்

 கண்கள் களைத்தடா
 தினமும் உன்னை நினைக்கும் போது
 நெஞ்சமும் வலிக்குதடா
 அன்பான வார்த்தை சொல்லி

Your absence is loud,,
 We still find it hard to believe, still asking ourselves why,
 We will never understand why you were taken from us so fast.

 You left your mother,
 You left your siblings,
 You left your children,
 Your nephews,
 Your nieces,
 You left all those close to your heart.
 But why?
 Why so sudden?
 Why so soon?

Our grandmother,
 still in pieces she cries,
 still holding your picture close to her heart,
 Wishing the pain could pass.

Your sibling’s,
 continue to share your memories, with a heavy heart,
 wishing they could relive every part

You left your children,
 but not without giving them the life they deserved,
 you worked so hard, so selflessly bearing the pain
 to provide and to protect,
 you gave them everything,
 you gave us all everything, and you did it with love.

Although you are no longer here with us, we still see you, hear you and remember you
 you are forever in our hearts.
