யாழ். கோப்பாயைப் பிறப்பிடமாகவும், வசிப்பிடமாகவும், இந்தியா சென்னை, கனடா  Toronto Ontario, Victoria ஆகிய இடங்களை வதிவிடமாகவும் கொண்ட சிவா சிவானந்தன்  அவர்கள் 15-02-2023 புதன்கிழமை  அன்று  கர்த்தருக்குள் நித்திரை அடைந்தார்.

பன்மொழி(Dir- Island Health B.C- கனடா) அவர்களின் அன்பு மாமனாரும்,

கிற்றனா(கனடா), செலீனா(கனடா), ரியானா(கனடா) ஆகியோரின் அன்புப் பேரனும்,

காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான மகேஸ்வரி - சுப்பிரமணியம்(இலங்கை), காலஞ்சென்ற சிவதாசன்(Electrical Engineer, Ceylon Electricity Board இலங்கை) - சந்திரா(கனடா), காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான கமலாம்பிகை, யோகேந்திரன் மற்றும் Dr.மனோன்மணி - காலஞ்சென்ற சிவதொண்டன்(இலங்கை), Dr.லோகேஸ்வரி- குமாரசாமி(நியூசிலாந்து), விமலாதேவி- காலஞ்சென்ற ஜெயதேவன்(அவுஸ்திரேலியா) ஆகியோரின் அன்புச் சகோதரரும்,

காலஞ்சென்ற புனிதா, B.A- குமார்(கனடா), Dr. நகுலேந்திரன்- சில்வியா(சிங்கப்பூர்), சச்சி(ஓய்வுபெற்ற பாடசாலை அதிபர்), சியாமளா(சிங்கப்பூர்) ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மைத்துனரும் ஆவார்.

உறவினர்கள், நண்பர்கள் மற்றும் அவர் சென்ற இடமெல்லாம் அவர் நட்பு கொண்டிருந்த எண்ணற்ற மனிதர்களின் Siva Uncle. சன் லைஃப் கனடாவின் வெற்றிகரமான மற்றும் திறமையான நிதி ஆலோசகர், இறைவனுக்கு அவர் உண்மையுள்ள மற்றும் முன்மாதிரியான சேவை, நேர்மையான மற்றும் இரக்கமுள்ள இதயம், தனது குடும்பத்திற்கான உறுதியான அர்ப்பணிப்பு, மகிழ்ச்சியான ஆளுமை மற்றும் தைரியமான ஆவி ஆகியவற்றிற்காக அவர் தனது அன்புக்குரியவர்கள் மற்றும் நண்பர்களால் அன்புடன் நினைவுகூரப்படுவார். அவருடைய ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கை மற்றும் மரியாதைக்குரிய மரபுக்காக நாங்கள் இறைவனுக்கு மகிமையைக் கொடுக்கிறோம்.

Mr. Siva Sivananthan, B.Sc., born in Kopay, Sri Lanka, and resided in Sri Lanka; India, Toronto, Ontario and Victoria, British Columbia (B.C.), Canada, peacefully entered into Glory to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on February 15, 2023.

Beloved and devoted husband of late Rev. Mrs. Pathma Sivananthan, CA/BRE (Victoria, Canada).

Loving father of Prakash (B.C. Assessment Authority, Canada).

Dear father-in-law of Panmoli (Dir., Island Health B.C, Canada).

Cherished grandfather of Kitana (Canada), Selena (Canada), and Treana(Canada).

Precious brother of late Maheswary - late Subramaniam (Sri Lanka), late Sivathasan (Electrical Engineer, Ceylon Electricity Board, Sri Lanka) - Chandra (Canada), late Kamalambikai - late Yogendran, Dr. Manonmani - late Sivathondan (Sri Lanka), Dr. Logeswary - Kumarasamy (New Zealand), and Vimaladevi - late Jayadevan (Australia).

Esteemed brother-in-law of late Punitha, B.A.- Kumar (Canada), Dr. Nagulendran- Sylvia (Singapore), and Sachi, Retired Principal- Shamala (Singapore).

Adored uncle of relatives, friends, and the countless people whom he befriended everywhere he went.

A successful and accomplished Financial Advisor for Sun Life Canada, Mr. Sivananthan passionately committed himself to his lifelong career. He will be fondly remembered by his loved ones and friends for his faithful and exemplary service to The Lord, sincere and benevolent heart, steadfast dedication to his family, jovial personality, and courageous spirit. We give God the Glory for his blessed life and honourable legacy.

A private funeral service will be held with immediate family. A virtual celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing” (2 Timothy 4:7-8).

Mr. Sivananthan’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the BC Cancer Agency and kind medical teams for their compassionate care and loving support of their father. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in honour of Mr. Sivananthan’s memory to the BC Cancer Foundation.
