Such a great Teacher Ramathilagam Sir was, for me at the Vantharumoolai Madhya Maha Vidhyalayam. When I sat for the GCE O/L in 1967, under his tutelage I obtained "distinction" in Physics, which was a rare thing those days. His quiet manners, subtle jokes are still remembered and we talk about him even now, among friends. The last time I met him was in 1981, I think, when he was teaching in Ramanathan College, I went to his house with my family, talked to him for sometime. May you Rest in Peace, Sir. We Love you.
