On December 7, 1963, my sister Guneswary married a remarkably charming man, Selvadurai Gunaratnam, who became my brother-in-law. Throughout his life, he embodied simplicity, calmness, and honesty, dedicating himself fully to his family. I was fifteen when they married, and I remember noticing how well-matched their names sounded on the wedding card. True to this, they shared sixty harmonious years together, with no conflicts that I ever witnessed. My sister, along with her husband's unwavering support, was a pillar for our family, particularly for our mother. I am deeply grateful to him for his support and kindness to our family. They had two wonderful children, Rajini and Selvan, who brought immense pride to their parents, especially their father, though he never openly displayed it. Athan, it's been a long time since we last met, but my affection and respect for you remain unchanged. I deeply regret not being able to attend your funeral, but I am confident that your children, along with their spouses and your grandchildren, will take good care of my sister. Rest assured, I will always be there to provide moral support to Sinnakka from Australia. We offer our heartfelt tributes to you. Farewell, Athan. Ganen, Vasanthy, and family.
