I came to know this affable person after his arrival in Mississauga in the mid 1980s, waiting for his family to join him. ... A very helpful member in our small community with our social gathering under the auspices of Peel-Halton Tamils Club. A strong and sincere participant, and had shared his dwelling with newly arrived refugees as a transfer point for them to move on. ... Naturally, that helping attitude has been ingrained in their children as well. Mr. & Mrs. Sitsabaiesan had the distinction of being the proud parents of one of their daughter Rathika being the first elected Tamil Parliamentarian in the West, let alone in Canada, bestowing a great honour for the community. .....
