Ruben was a good friend and a motivator for me and many others. He compered most of our Cricket Awards Nights and made them unforgettable. We played cricket together for many years and enjoyed every minute. He was a happy person, had a smile on his face all the time and never took anything in a negative manner. There are many memorable moments with him on and off the grounds. During week days whenever he called, we talked about the games we played and discussed everything about the game. The conversation was almost like playing a tournament. Whenever he came to the cricket grounds the enthusiasm he brought motivated the entire team. There's so much more that can be written about him.
