Thavamammy was one of the special ones. From my childhood memories in Ilavalai, Jaffna, Sri Lanka to my adult life in Brisbane, Australia, she was always the loving and caring Aunty.  It saddens me more that I was unable to attend the services and funeral.  Watching the service and the funeral brought me some joy, seeing how many loved her and knowing how many people she had made an impression on.  To my dearest cousins Vathany, Jude, Yarlini and Ruben, you should be proud of what your Mummy achieved, and proud of who you are, as it was her loving mothering that has made you all what you are.  I am confident that she is in our Lord's loving care along with your Dad.  Remember the joy she brought you, as a means of moving forward and never forget that she will always be in your hearts.and in mine.  I will miss her.  Rest in eternal peace Thavamammy.
