We have many happy memories of our days in the Royal Ceylon Air Force (RCyAF) - and Suba & Vive play a large part in those memories. The small band of RCyAF people who were stationed at RAF Negombo/RCyAF Katunayake shared a firm friendship that has withstood the ravages of time and distance. Handsome Vive will long be remembered by us for his always-cheerful disposition and the full part that he played in everything that was accomplished in those early days. We send Suba & Family our Love and Deepest Sympathies. We hope that they will be given the strength to bear their tremendous loss with Courage & Dignity; and that they will be comforted by the fact that Vive had a long and successful career, was greatly-liked, and that his Family's grief over his passing will be shared by many people.
