Master Sunda taught me at SBC in 1961, he was our Tamil teacher and very talented Basketball coach. During his tenure however, SBC and Old Ben's Basketball teams were champions in then Ceylon. My classmates such as Dr.Chandrasekar, Aton Tharmarajha, Vasanthakumaran, Dr. Kanthan, Dr. Kulendran Xavier, Navaratnarajah, Bishop Emmanuel, Gerald Mel and the rest of the class used to eagerly await his arrival not because we were keen on learning Tamil but to hear his humorous anecdotes and jokes. We loved him very much so was all his students at SBC over the years. Sunda, was a very helpful and kindhearted teacher at SBC. Rest in peace dearest Sir! Clarence Joseph. London.
