Ram Suntha (I called him Suntharalingam Annai) was in and out of our house in Wellawatte. He was a friend of my brother V. Sundharalingam of Radio Ceylon. We used to play Carom and Chess at the house. He introduced me to Basketball and as a Peterite we had several encounters and his St Benedicts team was always the winners until we beat them in 19666 or 67. I remember him rushing over to me and congratulating us on the courts. He and another friend of his, theLate Kathirkamathamby were the giants in Basketball.
