It gives me great sadness to pen this tribute to the greatest basketball coach ever produced by Srilanka. I had the great fortune of knowing Sunda, he was instrumental in picking me for the northern province team while I was still a schoolboy at St Patrick's college, Jaffna. I only wish I had the opportunity to be coached by this giant of a basketball coach. I express my sincere condolences to his dearest and nearest. I can boldy say we have lost a great basketball mind in Srilanka. May his soul Rest in Peace! BMS Patrick Melbourne Australia.
