Being an 'old Ben' during mid 50s to mid 60s, I had quite a bit of dealings with our ever so popular 'Suntha'. Apart from teaching us he was also coaching the best school Basket ball team in the country. A number of them like Cosmos and Percy Perera, to name a few went on to play in the Ceylon National team. I remember him also for the very active part he played in the Tamil Literary programs in college and in Public venues in Colombo including regular 'Radio Ceylon' programs. My class mates, Clarence, Kanthan, Angelo, Philip Chandrasekhar Periya Kule , Mohan, my brother Yogan and many others will remember him fondly. Kulendran Xavier, Texas USA.
