Making everyone feel welcomed and loved was your speciality aunty. Not a day in the last 15 years have I ever felt like I was not taken care of when I am in Toronto. Especially when I can to your home. The nature of your kindness knows no bounds, you had no bad feelings in your heart and you always treated me like your own. I remember at Sudans wedding, you realised I didn’t have a necklace on my neck and gave me your own to wear for the day. I was so touched it bought tears to my eyes. I remember we had sometime where I did your make up and you said you made me look so beautiful like my own wedding day. We hugged and I had tears of joy. You were a special human being a kind soul and one with such a gentle approach to life. It’s these acts of kindness throughout your life made me feel a part of your family. Though you might not be physically with us, I know you will constantly bless the ones you love and look after them from above. That’s who you have always been. It was an absolute pleasure and honour knowing you in my life aunty. May you gorgeously beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
