*Sivakantha Aunty* We have known Sivakantha Aunty for the past 51 years, dating back to 1975. Myself, my brother Vignesh, Ganesh, and Usha all went to her S-Block house for classes, just like most of the students from the Anderson flats during that time. She was a wonderful teacher who encouraged us to crack problems on our own rather than just spoonfeeding us the answers. Even after we finished school, she could always spot us from a distance. She would always stop to spend few minutes with us, catching up and discussing how we were doing. In fact, she was almost a member of our family. She never missed an opportunity to visit our home and meet Ammah, Appah, and all of us. The most beautiful thing about her was how she could instantly grasp the situation at home, and she would gently send her advice through Ammah. An elegant, towering personality from yesteryears has left us. She will be deeply missed. Lately I met her at her New Malden home in London where she was with her daughter and Grand Children.Even during that meet up she was so concerned about all of us and gave nice words of encouragmt. Sivakantha Aunty , may your soul reach the feet of Almighty Shiva. Om Shanthi 🙏
Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. May her soul rest in peace.
