Panch was once the Fastest man in Srilanka. He won the National Championship 100 Metres few years back First Jaffna man to get that title. Panch was a versatile athlete of repute. I can still remeber him running the anchor lap for Ariyalai united Club in the 4x 100 metres relay at the Jaffna Central College grounds against the formidable Jaffna Track and Field Club headed by another sprinter of repute V.T.Ganeshalngam We are proud of his achievements. May his soul rest in peace.
