Prof Nallathamby Perinpanathan was one of the most influential figures in the lives of Jaffna University students. Together, it would not be an exaggeration to say that he was a selfless guide in the lives of many, including myself. He will always be remembered for his smiley face, humanity, compassion, and generosity. I extend my deepest condolences to his family and pray for his soul to rest in peace.
