Our grandpa was the most caring grandparent to us (Melanie and Stephanie), the most wonderful father to our father Nimalan, the sweetest father-in-law to our mother Annike, and the kindest family member to our grandmother Lillemor (Sweden). To everyone else, he was the friendliest man with the most magical social skills. He could engage and connect with everyone and anyone, and we are sure we can speak for many others when we say he will always be remembered by these things, simply due to his kind-hearted personality. Grandpa has inspired us in so many ways. The way he cared for people, the way he made others, even strangers, feel valued and loved, and how he often went out of his way to help just about anyone. These are just a few examples. His positive attitude and resilience as well as his ability to pick himself back up when things got tough, are just a few of the strengths which have impressed us the most. His graceful demeanor and kind gestures have influenced us in many ways and will forever keep inspiring us in our daily lives. Grandpa always lived his life to the fullest which included always rushing to get from point A to point B because there was always so much to do, so much more to get out of life. He did not want to waste a second. Even though we live far away (Sweden), we are eternally grateful to have been able to spend most of our summers with him in Canada, and will forever cherish all of those memories. Like, how he would always share stories about his adventurous life, as far back in time as to his childhood days in Sandilipay. Even though our hearts are aching and we already miss him so deeply, knowing his last moments were peacefully spent with his loved ones puts us at ease. Let's all remember our grandpa by celebrating him and his wonderful soul ??❤ We love you so much grandpa!
