Mr.Mathiaparanam Vivekananthan JP was the son of Mr.Sinnathamby Matthiaparanam.Mr.Mathiaparanam belonged to the fourth generation of Mr.Ramalinger Ramachandirer who built the Nagabooshani Amman Temple In Naina Tivu, in Jaffna ,in in Sri Lanka in1788.[ Please see Ancient Hindu Temples Of Sri Lanka by Mr.S.Arumugam ]..His mother, Mrs.Elaiyammah Mathiaparanam belonged to the family of Mr. Sinnaththamby Thambiayyah and Mrs.Parvathippillay Thambiayyah.This family had been conducting the Thiruvathirai Festival Of Thiruvembavai at Arulanantha Pillaiyar temple in Kantharodai. Mr..Mathiaparanam Vivekananthan and his eight sibblings studied at Ramakrishna Mission Vaidyeeshwara Vidyalaya. All the nine of them were bright children.Before Mr.Mathiaparanam went to work in Malaysia as he was associating with Ramakrishna mission he was teaching at Vaidyeeshwara Vidyalaya.With that association : A.Following the birth of the first child in Malaysia the parents named her with Goddess Thurkkai’s [ and Goddess Nagabooshani’s ] name and followed the same for the other three daughters and B.Named the second child,the first boy in the family Vivekananthan and followed with naming three boys with Ramakrishna Mission Swamys’ names except for the sixth child.As the parents believed that the sixth child ( 4th son) was a blessing by Lord Varatharaja Perumal in Jaffna and named him with Lord Vishnu’s name. They were living at “Kamalapathy”, 34 Bazaar Lane, Vannarponnai,Jaffna, Sri Lanka ( the lands belonging to Mr.Mathiparanam’s parents was called “ Aninchilady”- near Jaffna Bazaar in Jaffna Town ,the entire area has now changed).
