She was very fondly known as “Ranji Akka” and passed away peacefully in Bremen/Germany leaving behind her beloved husband Suvendrarajah, her three children Tharshini, Ramesh and Sulakshini, her Son-in-Law Mathimugan and Daughter-in-Law Mathivathani and her grandchildren Akshaya, Abinaya, Anjala, Abisana and Vanish. She was born to a well-respected family of the Late Lazarus Joseph  (Former Chief clerk of Ceylon Government Railway) and Parimala (Bridget) and Loving Daughter-in-Law of another well-respected Family of the Late Rasappah (Former Overseer of Ceylon Public Works department) and Kamalambal.  She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren, embraced every moment with them, and welcomed her extended families of her Son-in-law Mathimugan and Daughter-in-Law Mathivathani in open arms. She was quite good a social participant in communities and made a friendly atmosphere in many social gatherings. She was the fondly loved sister of Pavalam (Mable). Sister-in-Law and cousin of Late Vaithilingam, Kandiah, Sotheeswaran, Theivendram and Shanthi and Rajeswari, Kamlambikai, Yogeswari – Raveenthiramoorthy, Sothimalar, Thurairajah, Koneswary – Wijendran and Kirubaharan.  She was a caring wife to her beloved husband, a lovable mother of her children and grandchildren, and an affectionate sister, cousin and sister-in-law. Moreover an honest friend of many people from different communities. “An Affectionate, Lovable, Friendly Flower that bridged good relationship has fallen” Relatives and Friends from her Homeland Sri Lanka, Germany, Canada, France, England and all over the World pay a tearful tribute to her demise and pray for her soul to rest in peace.
