Appama, I miss you. I miss the times shopping for our knitting yarn. I miss the time you made a jumper for my tweety bird. I miss the times we sat together on the sofa and when you told me stories about appa as a child. You’ve taught me so much about being strong throughout your lifetime. You’ve been an incredible inspiration of fighting through every medical battle you’ve faced. I miss your presence, I miss your kummi dance, the times you’ve made appam for me and the times you’d always ask for crosswords. You have smiled through everything, even when the world is apart.
