The weather here is cold and always grey, A million miles from where you used to be, But even though I live so far away, You always were the best Appama to me. I still remember how you used to smile, Your voice on FaceTime calls to check on me, You made the distance feel like just a mile, With all the love you sent across the sea. Now London rain is falling on the street, While ocean winds blow softly down your coast, I wish that one more time we got to meet, Because your blessings are what I miss most. Rest in peace, Appama , I miss you so, I’ll hold you in my heart and never let you go.
