Dr. Kumar is known to me for the last 3 years. I searched for him and contacted him to get permission to dance to one of his songs. He immediately allowed and my daughter danced for his song in 2018 in an event called NATYA (North American Tamil Youth Association). It was viewed by nearly 1000 people on stage and nearly 2,300 people in YouTube. She danced for the same song again in 2019 at Carolina Kalai Vizha. That too was watched by 200 people and in YouTube 768 people. She danced the same song for the third time in 2021 at KHANA Super dancer competition and moved to quarter finals. Every time, when I informed about dances Dr. Kumar was extremely happy and wished my daughter. Following these events, Dr, Kumar has become a family member of ours. Once in a month he will call us and asked about our wellness. When we heard his sudden demise, we were shocked. My daughter also was quite upset. We planned to meet once the pandemic is over. We express our heartfelt condolences to his family members and relatives. We know it is hard to live without him. He was such a lovely person who showed tremendous love. Our daughter's dance will remain as a tribute to him. May his soul attain Sivapatham (சிவபதம் அடையட்டும்).
