Words alone do not do justice to the heaviness in our hearts following your departure. It feels like a mistake, almost a dream as if we’re going to wake up and everything be back to normal. You were doing so well and fighting through like the true champion you are!...it still makes no sense. Although we never interacted as much as I would have liked, your presence was always felt. In times of trouble or despair, you were called upon in thought and in seconds, feelings of fear would subside. From the thousands of stories I have heard, it was clear you were someone special. We ourselves never got to meet yet you touched my life in so many ways.
