Thatha is my mum's uncle and my grandmother's twin brother. Thatha lived a remarkable life, one that inspires me hugely. His kind and playful character, his broad range of interests, and his cheerful personality made him a wonderful person. I never had the opportunity to meet Thatha in person but I wish I had. Hearing stories from Amma about a humble and loving Thatha fills my heart with joy and he will always be remembered by those who knew him and loved him.
