What a pleasant memories we shared at Mandeville BP .. It was just 10yrs ago .. You were at hospital after a surgery when I called you last during COVID-19 days .. Asantha ayya, when I next visit London, visiting you was in my priority list .. but you were in a hurry !! Didn't give me a chance to see you again .. I can remember you asked me once "how much you spend for living here?" I said "about £500 in total. £350 for rent. £100 for travelling. The rest I pay to the Uni." You surprised and asked "then just £50 for food?" "Well yes, I get 2 meals from BP. So I can manage" you laughed a lot and said "so you are lucky to work here". I said "Ayya, religion says when you do good deeds you will be rewarded in your next birth. So all the good deeds you have done for us, you will definitely be rewarded. Not everyone helps people like you" you smiled and said "oh let's hope so". Today I am glad that I managed to express my gratitude to you that way. Ayya, you were really a Father figure to us .. still I can't imagine you are gone forever .. you are standing like a statue in my memory !! I was so blessed to work for you !!
