Dear Joslin (teacher), It’s hard to accept your sudden departure as a mother at your young age. Your departure is cruel as every move of yours, within and without that little hall at the feet of Mountparnasse Tower, will haunt your loving daughters at their young age, as it will the other students. I wish your strokes on the keyboard should continue to sound and vibrate even if it’s going to be a distant drum from the horizon. Let’s pray to God to care and guide your sweet daughters under your beloved orphaned husband Patrick. I, as one who know you just for a short period, will cherish those sweet memories. You created a vacuum difficult to fill up. Once the English parents in England would say, “Go to Mount Parnasse and learn Art” has been continuity to this day thanks to your presence. Yes, the slogan “Go to Mountparnasse and learn piano from Joslin Teacher” will ever be a memoire for Tamil expatriates in Paris. You left behind a cherished memory among teachers, students and parents who I believe will remember you even though you have hidden your physical ever smiling countenance. Let your soul rest peace. Good bye Joslin! From (Vettivel master) James Vetty from Paris
