Losing someone we love is not easy, but knowing that we have been able to be a part of the life of that person, we can realize that we are blessed to have been able to share in that life before the soul went to rest. Jeyathevy has been helping St James Town seniors and abused women to a great extent, along with Vasantham Tamil Wellness Centre. She was the chair of St James' Town Seniors Organization. She helped many. One heartbreaking event in her life: A Senior woman with Dementia was left in the summer months on a street in Etobicoke under the scorching sun by her relative. Vasantham was informed about this incident. We requested the Police to bring the patient to St. James ' Town Hospital - Wellesley Central. Vasantham organized the St James Town Tamil residents to help her. Jeyathevy was at the forefront. She helped her with cultural attachments until she died in a distant nursing home. She helped Vasantham to bloom in St James Town from the beginning. She is a charismatic person who loves students and contributes by teaching with affection in their lives.
