Tribute to Prapa Prapa I have written this tribute to you in terrible despair as its hard to digest your premature departure. Prapa you were a fine gentleman; you, like myself both joined the family through marriage. Although we were Sahalars you were more like my friend and a brother. Your bright eyes with your broad smile always enlightened the family gatherings with various topics of discussions including sports and culture, you were not short of knowledge and the huge hole you have created will never be filled. I remember your courteous greeting gesture and how openly appreciative of people you were, no matter how small the favour; this very nature I found in your sisters and mother whenever I paid them a visit. Your sincerity, values and principles which you always stood by, yet being very humble will always be remembered. Your ethos of never to expect or receive anything for free but to achieve through hard work will always be admired. Your readiness to offer your hands to those facing hardships will be thoroughly missed. You were loved by many people which is evident through the pouring tributes, even from people who met you only through social media. You took pride in other children’s achievements equally as your own; you were genuinely interested in their success and it’s not a surprise you were their “beloved Prapa mama”. I, whom you affectionately called “Akka” truly will miss you along with all others. I am not going to say goodbye to you as you will be in our hearts forever, but rest in peace brother Prapa your legacy will continue.
