Dear Anu Aunty, I just wanted to tell you how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Even though I never had the chance to meet your father, I watched the service, and it was clear how much he meant to you and your whole family. One thing that kept coming to my mind was that even though I did not know your father personally, I feel like I have experienced a part of his impact through you. You have always been so kind, caring, and loving toward me, Amma, and Appa. You have always treated us with so much warmth over the years, and I can't help but think those qualities reflect the values your parents instilled in you. In that way, I feel I got to know something about the kind of person your father must have been. Seeing you, Kavita Aunty, Krishna Uncle, Mu Mama, Shreeram, and your friends and family come together to honor him was incredibly moving. It was obvious how much love and respect your family has for one another. Shreeram's words at the funeral honoring his grandfather reflected the same love and values that have clearly been passed down through generations. I know how close you have been to your parents and how much time and love you devoted to caring for them. I hope that, with time, the memories of all those moments together bring you comfort and peace. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family. Thank you for always being such a special part of our lives. I feel very fortunate to know you, and I'm sending you all my love during this difficult time.
