It is indeed very sad to hear the passing away of BalaAnnai. Our grand fathers are brothers, that makes us cousins. I have many good memories of Bala Anna from my early childhood in Kalviyankadu. He made me good kites of different kinds Pampan Kodi, Sana Kodi and Vin Kodi that makes sound in the sky when I play with them. He treated with me with respect, love and affection even though I am eight years younger than him. I am not sure, how many of you knew that he was an excellent sportsman. Very good both in Football and Cricket. He played the striker position and scored many goals for GPS in various competitions. He had this excellent skills of scoring goals and earned a nick name "Shoot Bala". Same thing in Cricket too extremely good batsman and very good bowler. He taught me lot of skills in football and he was instrumental for my striking skills and showed me how to bat with straight and score runs in my Cricket . I can go on and on about Bala Annai, just share one more thing and I will finish my tribute. He was a very jovial person too. When he was working with CTB bus lines, I hope most of you remember that we cannot get in to the Point Pedro Bus to go to Kalviyankadu. We can only go by the short service Kopay bus . When he saw my mother and me waiting in Kopay bus queue, he used to approach us and say you people are going to Neerveli, why are you waiting in this queue. We quietly got in to the 750 bus going to Point Pedro. Of course the driver will stop at the 3rd mile post so that we can get down at Kalviyankadu. May his soul rest in peace. Our heartfelt condolence to his family and relatives.

Please accept our deepest condolences. We are very sorry for your loss.
